The town’s style is clearly influenced by its rich history, with hand-pressed brick buildings from the 1840s and unique architecture on display throughout the area.

Can’t get enough of that Texan sunshine? Then you’ll love Seguin’s Max Starcke Park, a 227-acre oasis set on the banks of the Guadalupe River. While you’re here, play around on the 18-hole Starcke Park Golf Course, or lace up your tennies for a few sets on the tennis courts. Try your hand at fishing, wander down the walking trail, launch your kayaks, or let the kids run wild on the Kids Kingdom Playscape.

Those with a sweet tooth will want to check out the Pape Pecan House, a family-owned landmark offering everything from candied nuts and pecan brittles to nut butter, honey, and pecans by the pound. It even houses a nutcracker museum, which features 8,000 unique nutcrackers from all over the world. ZDT's Amusement Park is a family operation and provides a wonderland of roller coasters, games, and activities for kids of every age.
